ARP was incorporated in 2003 to offer companies an environmentally friendly alternative to dumping unwanted electronics in landfill. Its principal aim is to divert e-waste from landfill, by returning devices to re-use or recycling them through safe and secure disposal.
Since its inception, ARP has diverted thousands of tons of electronic waste from landfill.

Safe and secure disposal of used electronics should be the only sensible choice, but it can be costly for companies. Through the principles of a circular economy, we aim to offset the cost of responsible recycling by returning devices to re-use and achieving the best possible return on resale.
Less harm, more resources preserved
Electronics can contain highly toxic metals that cause serious health and environmental problems when released. With efficient, low-cost solutions across the whole recycling cycle, we aim to minimise harm to the environment and preserve as much of the earth's material resources and energy as possible.
Re-use, Reduce, Recycle
Re-use is widely regarded as the most virtuous form of recycling. It reduces demand for new products, and with it the extraction of the earth's material resources and energy. That is why ARP puts re-use first.
Devices are tested, repaired as necessary, data-wiped and resold.
Where a device can't be re-used, its components are recovered as spare parts.
The remaining materials go to our certified downstream recycling partners.

The number of unwanted devices grows every year as people upgrade to the newest model. Burying them in landfill is not sustainable. As they break down, the toxic substances they contain can contaminate the soil and seep into groundwater, rivers and streams, harming the environment and human health.
