Resell, Recycle, Donate

Three options for your surplus or unwanted devices. Sell what still has value, recycle what doesn't, or direct the proceeds to a charity you choose.

Asset Recovery

Surplus devices lose resale value over time. If you have surplus or unwanted devices of value, we can buy them from you, turning them into cash quickly and freeing up your space.

How it works

From booking to payment

You pack the devices. We collect, process and report on them, then pay you or donate the proceeds to your nominated charity.

  1. Book and pack

Tell us how many devices and cartons you have, with weights and dimensions. We email your booking form, shipping guidelines and labels. Free pickup applies to 16 or more devices.

  2. We collect

A courier collects from your site between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, Australia-wide. A consignment note arrives by email to attach to your cartons.

  3. We process and report

Each device is tested and data is deleted before resale. You receive a report on what happened to your devices.

  4. Payment or donation

Proceeds from the resale of your devices are paid to you, or donated to the charity you nominate.

What happens to each device

Re-use, Reduce, Recycle

ARP gets the most out of every device before anything is recycled. Whole devices are re-used first. Where that isn't possible, we reduce waste by recovering components as spare parts. Only the remaining materials are recycled.

Priority 1Re-use

Tested, repaired as necessary, data deleted and resold. Re-use is the most virtuous form of recycling: it reduces demand for new products, and with it the extraction of the earth's material resources and energy.

Priority 2Reduce

Where a device can't be re-used, its components are recovered as spare parts. This reduces waste going to landfill and the need to make new parts.

Priority 3Recycle

The remaining materials go to certified downstream recycling partners. They are sorted, dismantled, shredded and sent in multiple commodity streams for reclaiming, refinement and re-use. We aim to recover as much as 95% of usable materials.

Reporting

A record of every device we purchase

As part of our asset management, every device we purchase is tracked from the moment it enters our processing centre until it is remarketed or recycled. Use that history to show the social and environmental outcome of your disposal in your triple bottom line reporting.

Compliance

Certified recycling partners

ARP works with certified downstream recycling partners, and together we aim to meet, and where possible exceed, all regulatory requirements.

Charities

Direct the proceeds to a charity you choose

Through its past social responsibility initiatives, ARP helped raise millions of dollars for charities.

When you book a collection, you can nominate the charity you'd like to receive the proceeds from your devices.
